Changes to Membership Structure

Competitive Player Members

To clarify matters following the recent changes to the membership structure of Scottish Squash, players will be eligible for the lower entry fee if;

1. They are a Competitive Player Member of Scottish Squash.

Or

2. They are a Competitive Player Member of an Affiliated Club.

In these instances the entry fee for the Grampian tournament will be £10 per competitor.

Non Members

Where the players’ home club is not affiliated to Scottish Squash AND the player is not an Individual Competitive Player Member, the entry fee will be £12 per competitor.

Following the event the Tournament Director will forward details of Non Members along with a fee of £2 per person (funded from the higher tournament entry fee) to Scottish Squash. This will qualify these individuals to be a Club Player/Supporter Member of Scottish Squash.

Club Player/Supporter Members

Club Player/Supporter Members will pay the £2 levy in subsequent tournaments. This levy will be forwarded to Scottish Squash.

Alternatively, players will have the option to pay the £10 fee on the day to become a Competitive Player Member of Scottish Squash. In this case the entry fee will be the £10 for members and the player will obviously enjoy the standard, lower entry fee at further tournaments as well as the other benefits of being a Competitive Player Member of Scottish Squash.
