ASRC are languishing near the foot of Division 2, nevertheless Kenny won his next 3 matches in January, beating Steve Body; Ricky Towler and Angus Stalker. In November Greg not only beat all the other five No1's in the league - he beat them all 3-0. That in itself was a pretty good performance, but we expect that from Greg! The REALLY impressive performance came in a National League match against Western where Greg was matched with Scottish No2 Alan Clyne, who's making inroads in the PSA Rankings. From 2-1 down against the Scottish Champion, Greg roared back, encouraged by a large crowd who believe this was one of the best games seen in the North East for years, and won it 3-2.

However, he has also during this spell played team National league squash for ASRC and in December beat Graham Stewart of Whitecraigs at No1 - Stewart plays above Greg McArthur! This victory resulted in ASRC winning 3-2. In January ASRC played the return fixture at Whitecraigs, Alistair again up against Graham but this time with the match poised at 2-2 Alistair was 0-2 down. Beaten only twice all season, both by PNC players, Sean missed only one match and capped many fine performances by his defeat of Alastair Gorrie of PNC. Alastair had been unbeaten in Grampian for 3 seasons prior to this reversal so the 3-2 victory was a great result for Sean.
Sean played 20 of the 21 matches in Division 1; his team ASRC Casino International finishing 3rd in the league with him winning 18 of those matches. Sean is Grampian Squash Pleyer of the Year.
