Dear All
Whilst I know the Annual General Meeting doesn’t fill you all full of unimaginable enthusiasm, there is a proposal from George Hislop to change the league structure THIS September. Clearly if you are not there you will miss the opportunity to have your say on whether this proposal is adopted or not. George’s Proposal is as follows;
Proposal 1; Create 3 divisions of 8 with the remaining (currently 9) teams creating Division 4. As this proposal is being proposed for Sep 2012, there would be no relegation this season. There after there would be 2 teams promoted and relegated from each division. The top divisions would play three times a season and division 4 twice.
Proposal 2; Leave Division 1 with 6 teams; division 2 & 3 move to 10 teams; balance in division 4 (currently 7). Relegation and promotion from div 1 to 2 would stand and the lower divisions would be based on the closing league positions. Division 1 would continue to play 4 times, Division 2 & 3 twice, and Division 4 3 times.
Aside from these proposals the committee are proposing to increase the fees by £5 per team.
The AGM will be held at ASRC on Thursday 26th April starting at 19:00. I would encourage you to give up a couple of hours and come along to help reach a consensus decision on these proposed changes.
Regards
Alisdair Duncan
